Jun Young Lee

Professor Lee graduated from medical school in 1981 and was trained in dermatology at the Catholic Medical Center, the largest university training hospital in South Korea. He is interested in contact dermatitis, occupational dermatoses and skin allergy. He was taught and inspired by Professor Kim Chung Won and Professor Kim Hyung Ok, who were pioneers in contact dermatitis in South Korea and were founding members of Korean Society of Contact Dermatitis and Skin Allergy.
After he became a Faculty Member in the Department of Dermatology, Catholic University of Korea, he studied as a visiting scholar in the Professor Howard Maibach’s laboratory in the University of California San Francisco, for one and half years.
He was appointed Professor of the Department of Dermatology, Catholic University of Korea and has participated actively in the Korean Society of Contact Dermatitis and Skin Allergy as Secretary General and as the President of the Society. He has also actively participated in the Korean Dermatologic Association (KDA), serving as a Board Member, Secretary General and Chairman over some 10 years.
He has been a member of ICDRG since 2014, following in the footsteps of Professor Eun. He is the president of 16th APEODS meeting which will be held in Seoul, Korea 2022.
