Professor Ga-Young Lee

Dr. Ga-Young Lee is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Dermatology, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea.
Prof. Lee graduated from Ewha Womans University Medical School and was trained at dermatology of Ewha Womans University Medical Center in Seoul, Korea.

After she became a Faculty Member at the Department of Dermatology, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, she studied as a visiting scholar in Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA.
Prof. Lee is interested in contact dermatitis and skin allergy research area, and was inspired by Prof Kea Jeung Kim, who was one of the pioneers in contact dermatitis in South Korea and founding member of Korean Society of Contact Dermatitis and Skin Allergy and also by Prof Hae Young Choi, who was her professor during training and the President of in the Korean Society of Contact Dermatitis and Skin Allergy.
